We like our rules. We like our traditions. We like doing things the way we’ve always done them, or the way we were taught, or the way they’ve always been. But God looks past our traditions and sees us. God doesn’t love the way we light the candles, or sing the hymns, or the way we dress. God loves THAT we do those things, that we express our love for God, however we express that love. God. Loves. Us. Exactly as we are.
